Privacy Policy

This App is designed for children of all ages, including children under 13. It is intended to be used under parental supervision or as a classroom tool. We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable international children's privacy laws.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII) from children or adults. Specifically, we do not collect:

• ✗Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
• ✗Photos, videos, or audio recordings
• ✗Location data (GPS or IP-based)
• ✗Device contacts or calendar data
• ✗Any account registration or login information

The following data is stored locally on the device only using SQLite and SharedPreferences, and never transmitted to any server:

• ✓Phonics learning progress and stars earned
• ✓Letters and groups completed
• ✓Daily challenge streak count
• ✓App preferences (e.g. sound on/off)

All progress data stays on the child's device. Uninstalling the app removes all stored data permanently.

The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)by Google to send optional push notifications, such as daily learning reminders (e.g. “Time to practice phonics! 🌟”).

FCM may use a device token to deliver notifications. This token:

• Does not identify the child personally
• Is used only to route notifications to the correct device
• Is not shared with any third party for advertising

Notifications can be disabled at any time in the device's system settings. Firebase's data practices are governed by the Firebase Privacy Policy.

The App uses Flutter TTS (Text-to-Speech) to read letters, words, and phonics sounds aloud to children. This feature:

• Runs entirely on-device
• Does not record or transmit any audio
• Does not listen to the child's voice

Sound effects (letter pops, taps) are bundled locally within the app and require no internet connection.

Kidzee Jolly Phonics contains absolutely no advertisements. We do not use Google AdMob, Facebook Audience Network, or any other ad network. Children will never see ads inside this app.

We do not use any advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID) for any purpose.

The App integrates only the following third-party libraries:

The App requests internet access solely for:

• Receiving optional push notification reminders via FCM
• Loading Google Fonts at runtime

The core learning experience — phonics groups, flashcards, tracing, quizzes, games, and all progress — works fully offline without any internet connection.

As a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

• Reviewany data stored by the app (all data is local — you can view it by checking the app's storage in device settings)
• Delete all data by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in device settings
• Refuse further data collection by disabling notifications in system settings
• Contact us at any time with questions or concerns

Since we do not collect personal information, there is no account to delete and no server-side data to request removal of.

All learning progress is stored locally on the child's device using standard Android/iOS secure storage. We do not operate any servers or databases that store information about users. There is no user account, no login, and no cloud sync.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom, we confirm:

• No personal data is collected or processed
• No consent is required as no personal data is handled
• Firebase FCM device tokens are processed under Google's legitimate interest for notification delivery

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable laws. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage parents to review this policy periodically.
